ADOPT A PET

How to Adopt a Pet

Please: download, fill out, and email the following application.

Adoption Requirements

1. Completed application. Email completed applications to sacredsycamoreanimalrescue@gmail.com AND murfeen1@tds.net. Applications that are not completely filled out will not be considered for adoption. There will be a waiting period while application is being processed due to the volume received.

Please note: We will reach out if your application is approved. We may not respond if we feel as if your application is incomplete or not a fair match to one of our dogs.

2. Home inspection & meet and greet with all pets/people in home required after application is approved.

3. An Adoption Agreement will be required to finalize all adoptions. Adoption fees are listed below. This will NOT be collected until time of signing agreement. We do not charge an application fee or accept “holds” on animals.

  • Puppies (6 months and under) $350
  • Young Adult Dogs (up to 1 year of age) $300
  • Adult Dogs (over 1 year of age) $250
  • Senior Dogs (over 6 years of age) $150-$200
  • Bonded pairs will often have different adoption fees to encourage adoption.

What Your Adoption Fee Covers:

• Microchipping of your new pet.

• Vaccinations up to date. (Baby/young puppies may require an additional set of boosters or rabies vaccination in the future which will be your responsibility.)
