Sweet Toffee!

My name is Toffee (F), and I am the newest little orphan at Sacred Sycamore. I am about 6-7 weeks old and am being fostered at this time. I will be available to adopt after I am spayed in several weeks. I have the cutest under bite, and am very social. A real cutie pie! Interested in giving Toffee a forever home? Reach out to Sacred Sycamore Animal Rescue at 765-720-5671.

Remy & Roscoe

Meet our two newest adoptable GSD pups, Roscoe (M) & Remi (F)! They are ~12 weeks old, well-socialized with dogs in current foster home, crate trained, and mostly house trained. They are SUPER eager to learn and please and would make an excellent addition to most any household!
If interested in adopting one of these two cuties, please fill out an application and contact our director Jane to set up a meet and greet (if approved) via phone at 765-720-5671. They will likely need a home with a fenced in yard to burn off some of that shepherd energy and would be okay with other dogs. Applications can be found on our website under the Adopt a Pet tab.

Meet Sheldon

Sheldon came to us from some good Samaritans who found him during the latest subzero cold spell. Sheldon was found near a warehouse in downtown Indianapolis, emaciated, and with signs of frostbite. He’s currently in boarding and recovering well. After receiving proper vet care, he will be available for adoption! We are very grateful that the warehouse who contacted us about Sheldon asking for help also made a charitable donation to take care of his vetting.

We are taking applications ahead of time if anyone is interested in offering this sweet soul a forever home. We have dog tested him and he is dog friendly; cats and kids are unknown.

Applications can be found under our ADOPT A PET tab.

Koa

Koa is a beautiful black shepherd mix! He’s 6 mo old and insanely intelligent. He came from the streets of Gary where he and his 2 siblings were born to a beautiful white shepherd mama. He’s potty trained kid and dog friendly and didn’t pay any attention to the cat he was introduced to. Once he warms up to you he’s very attentive but that is earned. He has the biggest personality and listens so well! Right now he knows sit, wait (for his food) drop it and has amazing recall! Koa is also extremely agile and can clear a 4 ft fence so a 6 ft fence is recommended.

EINSTEIN

Einstein (and his brothers, who have all been adopted) was rescued from an Amish breeding operation. He is a now almost 1 year old male English Cream Golden Retriever. Einstein will need a patient and loving home with a fenced in backyard and someone home for the majority of the day since he will need to work on house training and crate training. This guy has been through a lot and will need a family to put in the work to give him the best life possible! Apartments, non-fenced yards, plans to crate for 8+ hours M-F simply won’t cut it for this guy and will not be considered. Interested in giving this goofy hunk a home? Apply on our Adopt a Pet tab!

ELLIE

Meet the sweet and petite, Ellie! Ellie is a Pointer/AmStaff mix who came to us from an overcrowded city shelter. Ellie was having a hard time in the shelter environment, so she needed out of there! She is a spunky, active young lady at 2 years old and 45 lbs. She is housetrained, crate trained (sleeps through the night), and loves to play/run! A fenced in yard would be best for her since she loves to zoom. She previously lived with a cat and was said to do well, though she is interested in them so a dog-savvy cat would be best. She has met other dogs her size and smaller very nicely, though she does enjoy playing, so a playful dog friend would be best. Ellie has met older children nicely, unsure of younger kiddos. Ellie takes a little time to warm up, but is easily won over by snacks! Have questions about Ellie? Text/call her foster Rachel at 317-331-8922.

Meet Gage

Gage is looking for his forever home! Gage is a ~4 month old chocolate lab mix. He is fully vetted, microchipped, and dewormed. He’s crate trained and pretty well potty trained. He really wants a fenced in yard and a doggie sibling to play with!

Meet Sophia

Sophia is a 10 month old mixed breed, and has a beautiful brindle coat. She has a goofy, active personality that shines! Sophia is fully housebroken, crate-trained, and loves snuggle time. She is people, kid, and dog friendly. Questions about Sophia? Text or call us at 765-720-5671.

Meet Sonny!

Sonny is a male ~1 year old wire-haired terrier mix! He is the cutest scruffy little guy you ever did see. He’s a great size around ~35lbs and a bundle of energy! He would love a yard to run around in. Sonny has met other dogs nicely but has a very rough and tumble play style, which not all dogs may appreciate. He loves kids and people and will give tons of kisses! He will need a family to help him learn some manners, as he gets super excited and jumpy. He would be an excellent addition to any family! Sonny is currently being fostered in Hendricks County. If you’re interested in meeting Sonny, applications can be filled out on our website and emailed in once complete. Call Jane at 765-720-5671 with any questions.

Ozzy & Odie

UPDATE: Ozzy was adopted, Odie still available.

Ozzy & Odie are both male, Lab/Anatolian Shepherd mixes, and are approximately 16 weeks old. They are both very friendly, loving, and sweet puppies. Both boys get along well with other dogs and love to play and eat! A fenced in yard is a must, no apartments.
